Chapter 2 (18+)

Victor's words are still ringing in her mind. She never had anyone in her life, and now just a little affection from Victor has started melting her heart. This is what loneliness does to us sometimes. Just a little care and affection starts melting us.

His words are still repeating in her mind. Like a melody, and she can't stop blushing.

Days passed, and Victor frequently visited her because most of the time her father worked from home, so he met her and was always around her.

His presence also makes her happy. One day, he brings roses for her.

She hesitated to take them, but Tiffany insisted, "Take them, Roseline. He just brings it for you."

"Rose for my Roseline." Victor said, and her breathing hitched in her throat. She blinks nervously as she doesn't know what to say or whether she should accept these flowers or not.

Victor put flowers in her hand, and her heart started beating erratically because that's what happens to her every time Victor is around her. She ran into her room and closed the door behind her.

She doesn't want to admit it to anyone, but her heart starts beating for him. She likes his company and his sweet talks. She forgets about her loneliness when he is around.

Today is the weekend, and Victor will not come because her father won't work on weekends.

Roseline was having breakfast with her father when he suddenly said, "Rose, I have found a husband for you."

Her eyes wide open like sausages, and she instantly blinked nervously, "But Dada..."

"Hear me out, sweetheart." Jacob interrupted her. "You know this is all yours, and you are my only heir, but at the same time, you are a girl. You can't take care of all this. So we need to find a perfect husband for you who can take care of you and my business as well."

Hearing her father's words, she felt hurt because, no matter what she does, she will remain only a girl.

Her father never thinks of her more than that, and it hurts her so much. She wanted to say, 'Dada, I can be your son if you show some faith in me and will take care of you and your business if you ever consider me worthy.'

But these words never left her mouth. Instead, she said, "Dada, I'm only 19, and what about my college?"

"Baby, you are eligible for marriage, and I'm sure that you will be a good wife, like you are my good daughter. As for your college, you will study from home. So that's not an issue." Her father said because Jacob is worried about who will look after her if anything happens to him, as the future is unpredictable, so he wants to settle her with a good man as soon as possible.

"But Dada I don't want to leave you alone." She replied quickly.

"Oh, my sweet little princess. You will not. I will only marry you on the condition that your husband will stay here with us." Her father said, "And get ready in the evening. Your soon-to-be husband is coming for dinner." Her father said, and she nodded with a heavy heart.

She doesn't want to get married, but she can't say no to her father because he always takes care of her as both her mother and father.

In the evening, with a sore mood, she gets ready.

"Young lady. Sir is waiting for you." A maid informed her, and she nodded.

She came downstairs and looked at her father. "Come here, Rose." He calls her, and a man is sitting in front of her father, whose back is facing her.

"Yes, Dada." She plastered a smile on her face, but her heart was crying. She went to her father and saw the person sitting in front of him.

Her heart danced upon seeing the person sitting there.

"Good evening, Roseline."

"Good evening, Victor." She replied, smiling.

Yes, it's Victor, and seeing him as her father's chosen man for her. She danced internally, and she is on cloud nine.

She is happy and feels blessed that her father chose him because instead of marrying a stranger, at least she is marrying someone whom she knows and likes as well.

"Rose as you know Victor, and I choose him as your husband." Jacob said, "Are you happy with my decision?" He asks her.

But before she could answer, Victor interrupted. "Sir, if you don't mind, can I talk to her?"

"Sure," Jacob replied, getting up and giving them some privacy.

Roseline is holding the hem of her dress tightly in her fist with her gaze down, and her heart is beating marathons.

"Roseline?" He asks slowly. "Look at me."

Hesitantly, she looked at him with nervous eyes. There is a commotion of emotions going on inside her, and she can't understand anything. But she is relieved for one thing: her father chose Victor for her because, somewhere in her heart, she started liking him.

"Are you happy with your father's decision?" He asked, and she nodded meekly. "Words?" He asked.

"Yes." She whispered meekly.

"I'm glad to know that, Roseline, because I fell for you the instant I saw you. You are beautiful, my love, and I will be the luckiest man alive to have you as my wife." He said that, and his words caused a knot in her stomach in a good way.

"Are you happy to take me as your husband?" He asks.

"I am." She replied shyly.

"But Roseline I want a promise from you. Will you?" He asked, and she nodded for him to continue. "I want you to always listen to me and follow me. In short, I want you to be my good wife. Just like you are a good daughter to your father, I want you to respect me and obey me."

"I promise." She replied naively.

Then her father came back, and they informed him that they were ready to get married.

"Oh, that's great, my children. I'm starting preparations." Jacob declared it happily.

"No, Mr. Evans. I don't want a lavish wedding. I want a simple and private ceremony because Roseline doesn't like the crowd, and her happiness is my happiness." Victor said that instantly, and his words swelled her heart with happiness that he noticed such small details, and her comfort is his priority over anything else, and Jacob is happy as well.

"Sure, my son, and from now on, call me dad or whatever you like because you are my son now." Jacob said, and he nodded with teary eyes.

"Thank you for accepting me as your son, dad. After losing my parents, I never thought I would ever find a family." Victor said it emotionally.

"You have us, my boy." Jacob replied and hugged him.

Within two days, their wedding preparations are done, and today is the day.

Roseline is nervous but also happy at the same time because Victor is an example of a good man in her eyes.

The ceremony is taking place in her mansion, and no one is invited. Except for her housekeeping staff, only Tiffany is present.

"You are looking gorgeous, Roseline." Tiffany mentioned assisting her in getting ready.

"Thank you, Tiffany." She replied politely, smiling.

Then her father came, and his eyes welled up with tears looking at his princess as a bride. He escorted her outside and walked her through the aisle, where Victor was waiting for her.

The wedding ceremony takes place, and she is officially married to Victor.

When the priest announced them as husband and wife and told Victor to kiss his bride,.

Her breathing quickened. She had never kissed before.

Victor comes closer and pecks her lips softly. She blushed. She looks genuinely happy.

"Your suggestion was right. He is the one made for her." Jacob said this to Tiffany while looking at his daughter.

"I'm glad she is happy, Mr. Evans." Tiffany replied.

After the ceremony, Tiffany leaves her in her room to wait for her husband.

Roseline is waiting for Victor, but he is nowhere to be seen. She waited for so long that she didn't know when she had fallen asleep.

On the other hand, in the storage room, Tiffany is moaning.

"Mmmmm...oh God, yes, go deeper, baby....AHHHHHHHHH...yes like this."

"Slow down, baby, or do you want to get us caught on our first day here?" Victor whispered, shutting her mouth with his hand and starting to fuck her harder.

When they were done and breathing fast to catch their breath, Tiffany said, "I can't believe this worked, baby."

"Neither do I." Victor replied, resting his head on the crook of her neck.

"Both father and daughter are idiots." Tiffany laughed.

"I know, my love. They are, and their naiveness is only going to be beneficial for us." He replied, "You were right. They fall into our trap so easily, and we will get all of this from them just for us."

"Yes, baby. We will be rich. So fucking rich." Tiffany replied.

"Yes, baby, then I will throw her out of my life and marry you, my love. Because I only love you." He replied, pulling her into a passionate kiss.
